Actor Sudeep Sahir will soon be back to TV with yet another prized role, if everything falls in to the right place. The actor who was last seen in shows like Behenein and Main Lakshmi Tere Aangann Ki was on a hiatus from the small screen as he was busy with his maiden Bollywood venture. The actor plays an important role in an upcoming Saif Ali Khan production film. The news coming in is that Sudeep has been approached to play one of the sons of Jaya Bachchan on TV!! News about Jaya Bachchan’s acting debut on the small screen with an upcoming fiction show titled ‘Vasundhara’ on Sony Entertainment Television has been hogging all the limelight for some time now. Based on the popular Gujarati novel ‘Yog-Viyog’ written by Hiralal Upadhyay, the serial will depict the tale of a single mother who brings up her children single-handedly. A reliable source tells us that Sudeep has been offered to play the lead in the show, who happens to be Jaya Bachchan’s son. We hear that talks are presently on with the actor. As per reports in the media, Vishal Singh of Dekh Bhai Dekh fame will play one of the sons of Jaya, while Urvashi Dholakia will essay the elder bahu of Jaya. Aasiya Kazi will play the wife of Vishal Singh. This promising fiction on Sony TV will be jointly produced by Endemol India and Big B-Jaya’s production house.
