Sushil Bounthiyal in SAB TV's Tota Weds Maina

SAB TV is currently on a roll as it is all set to launch a number of new shows in the coming months. We have already written about Fireworks Productions’ I Dream of Jeannie and we have learned that the channel is coming up with another venture, called <em>Tota Weds Maina</em>. The show is being produced by Miloni Pictures. The plot will be a hilarious one (as expected) and will capture the funny histrionics of a joint family based in UP. The pilot of the show was shot on 5-7 June 2012 and the makers are ye to get a green signal from the channel to go on floors.

Now, we have been also informed that actor Sushil Bounthiyal has been roped in for the project. Sushil gained popularity playing Mangru in Swastik Pictures’ Phulwa on Colors. In Tota Weds Maina, the actor will be seen as the uncle of Tota and he will be a municipal contractor by profession. He will keep making mistakes at his work but at home he will have authority being the only bread winner of the family.
