The TAM Ratings of the week is here. Interestingly the ratings this week have seen a lot of changes. Firstly, the numbers of the top channel, Star Plus has drastically fallen from 733 (Million TVTs) to 681 (Million TVTs) although it has managed to retain its top position on the list. Sony Entertainment Television for that matter has surprisingly seen a rise in numbers from 286 (Million TVTs) to 313 (Million TVTs) Star Plus is followed by Zee TV with 394 (Million TVTs) and Colors 367 (Million TVTs). Channels (Million TVTs) Star Plus: 681 (Million TVTs) Zee TV: 394 (Million TVTs) Colors: 367 (Million TVTs) Life OK: 354 (Million TVTs) Sony: 313 (Million TVTs) SAB: 258 (Million TVTs) The show list also sees a welcome change with the forever number one show Diya Aur Baati Hum (9.5 TRPs) losing its position to Saath Nibhana Saathiya (9.8 TRPs). The third position is retained by Jodha Akbar with 8.9 TRPs. With the continuous drop in numbers for DABH, seems like viewers solely enjoyed watching the struggle phase of Sandhya’s IPS journey. Anyways with IPL to wrap up soon, it will be an interesting wait to see how the number swings again.
