Tellychakkar.com was the first to inform you about the thrilling show Anamika (Trishula Productions) on Sony Entertainment Television bidding adieu on 13 September. And today the team is shooting together one final time for its last episode which will end in a positive note. We spoke to the Mahesh Pandey, producer of the show who said, “It had been a great experience throughout. Being a writer I was always into the world of words, but now with this show, I got to work from the day of set constructions to the last day of shoot. It had been such a learning experience.” Further he quipped, “We never realised our show would see such popularity especially with the kids, who adore the chudail Anamika. But we were very sure that we did not want to portray her as a vamp and thus at the end too we justified her actions and ended on a happy note for all.” For the viewers, Anamika (Simran Kaur) will be killed by Chhavi (Shivani Surve) and as she dies she will take Jeet’s (Mudit Nayyar) soul along to patal lok to complete her 350 years old love story. But Chhavi will do havans and puja to get back her husband, and God will fulfill her wish, and Jeet will get another life. The beautiful Shivani says, “The good always overcomes the bad, and here too at the end Chhavi will finally get Jeet back to start life afresh.” Talking about her experience on the show, she adds, “As they say, all good things come to an end, this too had to be like that. But it had been a great experience and within a short time I gelled with the entire cast and crew. And thanks to the audience who accepted me so well and gave me so much love.” With the makers planning for a season 2, we quizzed Mahesh on that, “Well we will have to discuss and chalk out a much thrilling and interesting plot. All that we had on horror is already shown, and we would definitely come back with something completely different.” Simran and Mudit remained busy. The cast plans to have a party soon but till then it’s work today. The show goes off air on 13 September paving way for Sanjeev Kapoor Ke Kitchen Khiladi (SOL).
