Producer Rajan Shahi is all geared up for the Switzerland track in his popular and long-running show on Star Plus, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. 

Rajan at the outset described this outdoor schedule as the ‘most amazing’ outdoor schedules in the history of his company, Director’ Kut. 

Rajan said, “The outdoor schedule though hectic was a welcome change for all of us. Not only did we get to shoot at amazing locales, but also the story line will get to a very interesting phase.”

Rajan specially thanked the Star Plus team and Gaurav Banerjee for making all the elaborate arrangements in Switzerland. “The facilities provided were amazing, and the preparations made for the smooth sailing of the shoot were top-notch. In fact, the Switzerland tourism went out of their way to accommodate and give us all the comforts. In fact, I even told them that shooting in Switzerland seemed easier than shooting in Mumbai. Also, we were taken care of very well, and the Indian meals provided to us was amazing.”

Contrary to all the reports that have surfaced in media, Rajan clarified that this trip actually brought out the good will and energy in the team. “Everyone was happy and cheerful, starting from the cast to the crew. There was an amazing camaraderie seen between Hina Khan, Mohsin Khan, Kanchi Singh, Shivangi Joshi and Vishal Singh. In fact, Hina needs to be credited for giving a very warm welcome to our new Naitik, Vishal Singh. She made him comfortable in his character in quick time, considering the fact that she has been living the role of Akshara for 8 years now. The actors took their free time to chat, smile and pose for photographs, and the candid pictures that you see will give you the exact picture of the camaraderie between actors.”

Rajan thanked the viewers for loving the show, and wanted to tell them that they will see new level of romance in Yeh Rishta now. “The track in Switzerland will come as a complete package. It will have the flavour of romance, intrigue and drama. Viewers will be at the edge of their seats, wondering whether Akshara can save Naitik. Also, the love triangle of Naira – Karthik – Gayu will reach its peak. Above all, the romance of Akshara and Naitik will also enthrall the audience.”

The Switzerland track in Yeh Rishta has started to air from yesterday, and will go on for nearly 10 episodes.
