MUMBAI: 25-year old television actress Erica Jennifer  Fernandes has made the nation fall in love with her character Sonakshi in “Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi.” She  entertained us thoroughly as Prerna in “Kasautii Zindagii Kii.”

The TellyChakkar readers love the chemistry between Parth Samthaan and Erica in the latest show.

Erica’s popularity is confirmed.  She has become  the TellyChakkar Showters’ Choice Star of the Week, with 81% Yes Showts.

This Showters’ Choice Star of the Week included all stars 25 years and younger: Erica, Shivangi Joshi, Kanchi Singh, Aditi Bhatia, Randeep Rai, Niti Taylor, and Eisha Singh.

Shivangi Joshi received 69% Yes Showts to come in second. The actress is seen as Naira in Star Plus’ “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” along with Mohsin Khan and they share a great chemistry. Fans compare her bond with Mohsin to SRK and Kajol, the perfect couple of the 90s. Kanchi Singh, part of the same show, received 60 % Yes Showts.

The youngest of the contestants, Aditi Bhatia,  was third with 67% Yes Showts. She is portraying the role of  Ruhi as the lovey-dovey daughter in  Star Plus’ popular show “Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.”

Randeep Rai,  known for his portrayal of Sameer Maheshwari in “Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai,” received 64 % Yes Showts.

The budding actor of the Indian TV industry,  Niti Taylor, who rose to fame on  “Kaisi Hai Yaariyan” and is currently playing the lead in Star Plus popular show, “Ishqbaaz” received 59% Yes Showts.

Lastly, Eisha Singh who is portraying the role as Zara in Zee TV’s show,  “Ishq Subhan Allah” received only 54% Yes Showts. It  seems like people don’t appreciate her role much.
