There is no space of competition between me and Gautam (Rode): Aanshul Trivedi

Aanshul Trivedi
The tall and good looking Aanshul Trivedi, the new entrant in SLB Productions’Saraswatichandra, is grabbing eyeballs with his intense performance of Pramad, the new ‘wall’ between Saras (Gauatam Rode) and Kumud’s (Jennifer Winget) relationship. The actor who was previously seen in Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki and Kaali – Ek Punar Avatar is once again proving his acting prowess with his enchanting screen presence. Says the talented Aanshul, “It is indeed an honour to be a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali Productions. The treatment and projection of the show is done in such a grand scale that you feel great to see yourself on screen. My character is not the usual alcoholic guy but has so many layers to it and I am enjoying playing Pramad every bit.” Indeed the actor has impressed critics and viewers alike with his performance. “I make it a point to study how Pramad will react to situations. Though he is not a bad guy, he and his father are just victims of misunderstanding. They both believe that they have been let down by each other. The bitterness Pramad evokes is the cause of it but on the whole he is good at heart,” adds the charming actor. So is there any competition brewing between him and the lead, Gautam? To this Aanshul shrugs off saying, “Not at all, he is so much more senior to me and there is no space of competition. I actually feel lucky that I am blessed with such a good star cast. Every one of them is so talented and seeing them perform you too get to raise your performance bar.” He also adds that he had followed the show initially which had shot off with such high expectations. “The magnificent start was so impressing; I guess the whole nation was hooked to it. I was simply in love with the background score and the title song, I still hum it.” When asked about him being skeptical about the rumour that Karan Singh Grover objects his wife’s co-star romancing her on-screen, the actor laughs, “I do not know much about all that but I will hardly have any romantic scene with Jennifer. So I am out of such controversies (winks). And apart from that, I believe all of us at Saraswatichandra are very professional and are here to do only good work.” The show has been the target of more controversies, one being that it will soon go off-air. Why did he step on a sinking boat, we asked Aanshul. “I have no idea about the show being under the scanner, you should know better. And I feel that the show has been able to touch a chord well with the audience. I will rather concentrate about my performance than think about the show’s future.” The actor will also be seen in an important role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela that stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. How is he feeling about it? “Well, it’s too early to talk about Ram Leela, but all I can say is I am lucky to be a part of such good projects at just the start of my career. It is every actors dream to work with Sanjay Sir. So I really feel blessed.” The actor is enjoying working hard for Saraswatichandra and when asked if he is dating someone, he laughs saying, “Right now I am only dating my show.” Way to go Aanshul!!!!
