It seems that things are not going pretty well for the actors of popular Colors’ show Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi (Balaji Telefilms). Reason? The serial has seen few replacements and now media has reported that Gauri Pradhan Tejwani has quit the project.  

Gauri, though playing the meaty role of Ishani’s mother, was not much happy with the way her role was progressing and hence made such a decision.

When we contacted her, she confirmed the news and said, “I was not much happy with the way my character was shaping up. I thought of having a talk with the production house about calling a quit but fortunately before any further final discussion my character is coming to an end.”

“I felt that there was nothing much left for me to do, so, instead of just being another character in the series, I thought of making an exit from the serial. And I have decided that after this I will only perform if I get any substantial role,” added the pretty actress.

Gauri made her comeback on small screen with this show after five years.
