Toral Rasputra talks about 'motherhood'

Toral Rasputra

The name Toral Rasputra needs no introduction. Beauty with brains perfectly describes the face of Colors’ long going social drama series, Balika Vadhu (Sphereorigins).

Apart from being a power packed performer on screen, the subtle beauty also possesses a soft and humble personality. Toral, who feels that Anandi’s character has given her wings to fly, feels that she can connect to the soul of her character.

Toral, who plays the role of a mother of two young kids in show, is not yet ready to embrace motherhood yet. Ask her about the same, with gentle smile Toral replies, “Embracing parenthood in real life is very much different from enacting it on screen. I have seen both my sister-in-laws handling their babies. One has to be alert all the time, looking after the little ones. Playing a mother on-screen really doesn’t make you one in real life. I think I need some more time to prepare myself, hence, no planning for motherhood, as of now”.

The lady believes to have grown as an actor with the show is now keeping an eye on comedy shows. Recently during a quick chat session, when we quizzed her about trying her hands in some other genre, Toral replied, “Firstly, doing similar kinds of roles at times can become monotonous. Moreover, I have never tried my hands in comedy genre, hence I think it will be interesting to explore. I won’t even mind trying my hands in dance reality series, as I am a dance lover”.

Even we wish to see you in some other avatar soon.
