"Unhappy" Yuvraj Thakur quits Balaji Telefilms' Bade Achhe Lagte Hain

At times, enacting roles that are just not relatable might seem challenging for actors, the scenario always lends a sense of added responsibility. But sometimes your efforts are just not appreciated, and on the other hand you are always put to bad light. Some fight with the situation, while others call it quits. And this is what happened with the young and dashing Yuvraj Thakur, who was seen playing Sammy in Balaji Telefilms’ Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. Earlier in the day we had reported about Pihu (Sonia Balani) and Sammy going off for their honeymoon. But now it seems the trip will be on with some other new face, and not Yuvraj. Yes, the young and hot blood Yuvraj, who has been trying hard to adjust to his married man soon going to be a father character, has moved out of the project. And apart from the character issues, Yuvraj did not find a balance with the functioning of the production team and repeated dispute in communication with the creatives, acted as a catalyst for Yuvraj to throw in the towel. Yuvraj has completed shooting for the show and in a chat with us said, “I am really happy that I was part of this show for I really got to learn a lot in terms of acting. Having just started my career a few years back, working with so many seniors was a great experience. And the situation that led to me quitting the project, in a way, has taught me a lot about the functioning of the industry. I am just saddened by the fact that our parting could have been a happy one and not seeded by some misunderstandings.” So what’s the plan now for Yuvraj? “Well, there are a couple of things planned out. I am sure something very good is in store in future.” We dropped a text message to Producer Ekta Kapoor to learn the production’s side of the story, but she chose not to reply.
