Vidya Sinha returns to small screen with Rajan Shahi's Itti Si Khushi on Sony TV; Paritosh Sand too roped in

It’s pouring news from the stables of Director’s Kut Productions today!! Just few minutes back, we at Tellychakkar.com revealed the concept of Rajan Shahi’s upcoming show on Sony TV, Itti Si Khushi. The story, as reported will depict the tale of a girl who gets into coma in her teens only to get out of her slumber after 12 long years. As reported in media, Smriti Kalra will essay the role of the female protagonist while Anuj Sachdeva will play the male lead. We now have exclusive information about veteran actress Vidya Sinha being roped in to play a very important role in the show. The actress who started her film career with Rajnigandha has had a good body of work on the big screen. As per sources, Vidya who was last seen on TV in Zee TV’s Qubool Hai will make a comeback with Rajan Shahi’s Sony TV show. She will be seen essaying the grandmother of Smriti Kalra. Her character will be of a strong and positive lady. Also, noted actor Paritosh Sand who has done movies like Bandit Queen, Saathiya, Monsoon Wedding and many more has been roped in to play the father of Smriti Kalra. He will play a very simple father who loves his family and daughter a lot. We could not get in touch with Vidya Sinha. However, Paritosh told us, “Yes, I am part of the new Sony TV show. However, I am not entitled to talk about the show as of now. You need to wait for the right time.” We dropped a text message to Producer Rajan Shahi, but did not get any revert till the time we filed the story. Get ready to see the veteran actors in action in Itti Si Khushi.
