Divyanka Tripathi and Iqbal Khan will share screen space for the first time in Ravi Ojha Productions’ telefilm for Star Plus’ Teri Meri Love Stories. And Divyanka is very much looking forward to the feedback from her loyal fans.
Talking about it, Divyanka told Tellychakkar.com, “I want to tell the viewers that they will simply love Iqbal and my onscreen chemistry in the telefilm. In simple words, we rocked as a jodi (smiles). In fact, Iqbal and I have come close to working earlier in a project, but that did not materialize. And we had fun shooting the telefilm together.”
On her role in the project, Divyanka quipped, “For the first time, I play a character that does not represent myself. Nikita the lead in the telefilm is a stubborn, attention seeking girl who knows to love people but cannot express it. She is a typical today’s high society girl, who is always prim and properly dressed. Through this role, I got an opportunity to experiment quite a lot with my hairstyle and dressing. The stylist has given me a superb look. To tell you, I have used some of my own dresses that were lying untouched in my wardrobe. I had a black short dress which I was scared of wearing (smiles). But this role allowed me to use that, and I was glad that I finally made use of the dresses I have not worn for years.”
“Also, it was great to work with a renowned director like Rakeshji (Rakesh Kumar). He has directed the popular show Sasural Genda Phool,” added Divyanka.
Divyanka tells her fans to look forward to this interesting and unique role. This particular telefilm will be aired on 29 September 2012.
