MUMBAI: Veera - Ek Veer Ki Ardaas fame Vishal Vashistha is set to wow the viewers with his upcoming show Ishq Mein Marjawan 2. 

The actor, who has been a part of several popular daily soaps like Ganga, Jai Kanhaiya Laal Ki, Jatt Ki Jugni, Vish, among others, will be seen in a completely different avatar in Ishq Mein Marjawan. The actor is excited about his role in the upcoming TV series. 

In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Vishal spilt beans on his role, his experience of working with co-stars Helly Shah and Rrahul Sudhir and much more. 

Speaking about his character Kabir, Vishal said, "I am playing an undercover cop. He is very patriotic and loves his country. There are two important things in his life, one is Ridhima, the love of his life and the other one is his country."

"My character is bound by love and duty," he further added.

The story is a mixture of romance, drama, thrill and action. Shedding some light on the same and his experience of shooting action sequences, Vishal said that it was exciting to shoot many action sequences which they shot in Goa. The actor revealed that he got major heroic feels while shooting the scenes. 

Furthermore, Vishal also revealed how his director wanted a particular scene in one take which seemed difficult. But Vishal and the team rehearsed it twice and finally got the scene in one take. 

The actor revealed that his director was quite happy with the outcome. 

Lastly, Vishal also revealed his experience of working with both his co-stars Helly Shah and Rrahul Sudhir. He was all praises for them. 

Colors’ Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 is set to hit the small screen on 13th July.
