Ekta Sharma of Kkusum fame is making a comeback to TV with Zee TV’s newest launch, Vishkanya – Anokhi Prem Kahaani (Peninsula Pictures).

The lady has struck a good chord with all in the unit, and this was precisely visible when the entire cast and crew showered Ekta with the best of wishes and gifts on her birthday yesterday (20 March).

While her 15 month old daughter, mother and hubby shared the limelight with her on the set, the entire unit exhibited great camaraderie and unity.

While the protagonist Vin Rana and his wife showered all their love on Ekta by gifting her with a cake and beautiful flowers, Kashish Duggal gave the actress a nice ethnic neck piece. The production house ordered a cake, and also gave Ekta an early pack-up on the day to spend private time with her family. Above all, her husband gifted her with a nice kurta, cake and bouquet.

When contacted, Ekta told us, “I thank all my friends, family, daughter and my Vishkanya team for making my birthday special. I could not have expected for more on my special day. I am happy to be part of this show, and with such a fab team. I wish the show all the very best.”
