The good looking and dashing Waseem Mushtaq who is currently showcasing his acting prowess in &TV’s Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls will soon don a very different and interesting avatar.

As reported exclusively by Tellychakkar.com, Life OK will soon launch a show on the life of the great freedom fighter Chandrashekhar Azaad, maiden fiction project by Deepak Pachori . As informed, Bhanu Uday will play the lead in the show.

Now we have information that Waseem has also been signed in to play a pivotal role of freedom fighter Shiv Verma, who worked as a close associate with Azaad and Bhagat Singh. As many would know Shiv Verma holds an important position in the fight and he continued to work for the party even after independence.

Shared a source, “The 26 episodes series will present some really unknown facets about the freedom movement led by Chandrashekhar. Waseem’s character will be one who is strong and efficient and really close to Azaad.”

When we buzzed Waseem he confirmed the developments but refused to divulge any other details.

We also got to know that the team will soon go to Jhansi for an important outdoor shoot.
