Once a wise man said that age is just a number, but Armaan Kohli is certainly not wise enough to understand it. We could not help but pen this article after Kushal Tandon and Ajaz Khan called Armaan Kohli “Buddha” some zillion times in yesterday’s episode of Bigg Boss season 7 (Colors). In the battle of brawns, the otherwise obnoxious, male chauvinist and ridiculous Armaan Kohli, who has derided women and bullied male co contestants throughout this season, got a dose of his own medicine when Kushal and Ajaz (along with Sofia) joined hands to intimidate him. Armaan did put up a brave face against the verbal onslaught, but he was visibly hurt at being called “Buddha” and a “flop actor”. He was shown talking and justifying about his age to his belle Tanishaa Mukherji and Andy. Now, the age factor has certainly caught the fancy of the masses, something which was evident with the way Armaan’s birth year was changed repeatedly in Wikipedia. Yesterday Armaan claimed on the show that he’s 39 years old while Kushal said that the “Jaani Dushman” actor is actually 45. This claim and counter claim, as mentioned, has lead to vitally constant editing of Armaan’s age on his Wikipedia profile overnight. Sometimes it stated he is 38, sometimes 41 and now it reads 45 (might change again), corroborating what Kushal says. What complicates matters is that Colors official website mentions he is 41. Now, who do we believe? It is really a funny situation. One man, with so many versions of age. Is it that Armaan is trying to hide his real age in an attempt to win over Tanishaa’s affection? It’s clear that the two have a thing for each other and reports of them getting sexually involved in the house have spread like wildfire. The question is who is constantly editing his age on an open social platform which everybody has access to? Is it fans or someone close to Armaan who is trying to protect his image in light of what he said on the tube last night? When we called up Colors, a spokesperson said the channel stands by the age given on their website. When we pointed out about Armaan’s version, the spokesperson refused to comment saying either ask his manager or to Armaan himself when he comes out of the house. Well, we will certainly ask him…but for now, we want to wish luck and happiness to “buddha” Armaan!!!
