It's indeed a very proud moment for Taarak Mehta producer Asit Modi.

PM Narendra Modi, while running the Clean India campaign, had assigned Asit Modi and his Taarak Mehta team the task of spreading awareness about the movement.

The even dedicated producer Was so successful in spreading the message, that he was recently honoured by President of India Sri Pranab Mukherjee at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Delhi.

This invitation was a privilege for him because he was one of the few to be honored for his honest, consistent and successful efforts towards ‘Clean India Campaign’.

An excited Asit shared with Tellychakkar, “It was an honor to be invited for this function. This was an acknowledgment of our genuine work towards making India clean. Through our show, we could reach out to a much wider audience. We have continuously inspired people to make this campaign a success and we will continue doing so.”
