She was last seen onscreen playing the protagonist in Star One’s Geet Hui Sabse Parayi. Her performance was loved by the audiences, but her onscreen chemistry with Gurmeet Choudhary who played Maan Singh Khurana set the screen on fire. The show went off air sometime in December 2011, and Drashti is currently been missed by her ardent fans. Though rumors of her coming back on television do make rounds every now and then, her followers have no clue when they will be able to see her on their TV screens. She has been catching up with friends, indulging in lots of shopping, watching TV serials and many movies. In fact, when Tellychakkar.com contacted her, she was watching a movie. However, she did take a few minutes out to reveal the truth. “I am in talks for a few projects, but things have not materialized yet,” she reveals to Tellychakkar.com.
