MUMBAI: Actress Sehrish Ali, who plays the role of Lakshmi Jindal in the television soap Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega, recently broke down on the sets of the show.

So, what made her break down?

Well, it’s a scene. Recently, the actress was shooting for a sequence wherein her co-actor Nishant Singh Malkani, who plays Akshat Jindal in the show, had to be put behind bars for a crime that he probably hasn’t committed. And the next thing was Sehrish broke down in the middle of the shoot.  

Explaining what made her break down, Sehrish said to media, “I am extremely emotional as a person and get deeply attached to things as well. I try to keep my professional and personal life separate like every other actor does but while shooting for this particular sequence, I felt a different rush of emotions. While shooting for this sequence I felt like I was being punished for a crime I haven’t committed, and that feeling was difficult to digest.”

She continued, “As actors, sometimes it gets hard to hold back on emotions and we do end up reacting in a realistic manner. Moreover, Nishant is a dear friend and seeing him in this situation took a toll on me but we managed to shoot the sequence eventually and I hope it’s the perfect shot.”
