MUMBAI : In the last episode, Janki suggests Srishti a method to resolve Preeta's issues. Later, Sherlyn tries to flee from the Luthra house but the family members get in her way. Later, Rakhi makes a phone call to check on Mahesh and he informs her about going to apologise to Preeta.

Mahesh tells Preeta to come with him and unleash Sherlyn’s truth in front of the Luthras, however, Preeta tells Mahesh that she couldn’t come with him, as Karan would insult her again. Mahesh understands Preeta’s state of mind and assures her that he would make Karan apologize to her.

Preeta tells Mahesh that all she wanted was to make everyone place their trust on her and her family. She also tells Mahesh that the day when the Luthras would trust her, she would come running to the house once again, but before that she could not come with him, as everyone had insulted not only her, but her mother and Dadi too.

She tells Mahesh that Sarla had made her promise that she would never go to the Luthra house again, and she could not break her trust. Mahesh tells Preeta that he respected the promise that she had made to her mother and assures her that he would return to fetch her with dignity and honour. In the meantime, Prithvi sends Raka, a goon, Mahesh’s photograph and hires him to kill him.

Mahesh was on his way towards the temple where the Luthras were involved in the reverations, however, his car was spotted by Raka. Raka follows Mahesh and hit his car with the truck he was sitting in.

Mahesh gets severely bruised as he got tricked by Raka, who lead him into a secluded road and hit him with an iron rod. Meanwhile, Preeta feels happy to know that Mahesh trusted her and soon the Luthras will also come to know about her innocence.
