Mohit Malik and his pretty wife, Additie Shirwaiker will soon head for a ‘romantic trip’ to Europe, as part of their Christmas and New Year plans.

Yes, Mohit who essays the central role of Samrat, the chauvinist in Zee TV’s Doli Armaanon Ki (Spellbound Productions) will be getting out of his shell, and taking a much-needed break. 

Says Mohit, “Yes, it is very important that I get out of the skin of my character at regular intervals. I have now planned to take my wife Additie out to a Europe trip. I think we will be at Rome during Christmas and mostly at Venice during the New Year’s.”

It will be a fun-filled outing for the couple wherein they have promised each other quality time. 

“I had not been giving Additie the time she requires in the last few months. My role has always been taxing, and it is important that I take regular breaks. I had informed the team of my vacation plan way ahead. And I thank them for planning the story graph before hand, and shooting my sequences early. I have been on my toes, delivering a bank of episodes in the last few days. I am looking forward to the 9-days trip that has been planned,” explains the actor.
