MUMBAI: The episode starts with Naira, who is at the hospital for a checkup, being thrilled to know that she could be pregnant. However, she thinks of waiting for the reports before sharing the good news with Kartik. Meanwhile, Kartik gets reminded about the chain of events that made Mihir emerge stronger and more capable than him. Kartik's insecurities make him feel Naira no longer loves him, but that is not the truth. Moreover, Mitali imposes her perspective of Mihir and Naira's relationship on him, making him sulk.

Later in the day, Kartik wishes to take Naira out for dinner, so he sends her a text message about it. Naira, who is busy in the office, asks him if they could take Keerti, Naksh, Samarth, and Gayu along. Kartik, who is already upset with the way things have shaped up, gets a call from Mitali (Mihir's girlfriend) but chooses not to attend her phone call. To communicate her message, she sends a recorded message to Kartik to prove her point.  Mitali shares an audio clip where Mihir says he admires Naira for the person that she is and he feels she is better than her. After hearing what Mihir feels for Naira, Kartik's suspicion grows stronger.
 
Kartik, who wanted to go for dinner only with Naira, reluctantly agrees to invite them. Naira tries to wrap up work at the earliest to make for dinner on time, but she gets late. Naira feels lonely when he sees Nakshi and Keerti together. He misses Naira with whom he has not spent substantial time for weeks put together. 

On the one hand, Kartik doubts Naira's love for him, and on the other, she looks forward to sharing news of her pregnancy with him. She wants to double the joy by sharing it with not just Kartik but Naksh, Keerti, Samarth, and Gayu also.

When she is on her way to the restaurant, she receives a call from her doctors, so she makes a quick visit to the hospital. Naira looks forward to breaking the good news to Kartik, but he feels she no longer cares for him. Naira gets late but reaches the restaurant to join the dinner. Kartik, who is upset, refuses to talk to her. Keerti, Naksh, and Samarth (Gayu is unwell, so she didn't attend dinner) sense something is wrong between Kartik and Naira.
