MUMBAI: The episode starts with Sameer dreaming of pursuing acting as a career option after sharing the frame with actor Khalid for a scene. He wishes to move to Mumbai to take a risk and try his luck in the field of acting. But in the 1990s, parents' approval was essential. As a mark of respect, kids would seek their parents' consent before taking an important step. So Sameer and Naina eagerly look forward to Anand's approval. But does he agree?

Sameer and Naina make several attempts to convince Anand to give them his consent, but he refuses to listen to them. Anand feels it wouldn't be appropriate to take up acting as a career option given the fact that Sameer is a young married man. Naina supports Sameer and wishes to see him chasing his goals.

A few days later, on Karva Chauth, Naina decides to request Anand and Bela to give their consent by citing examples of Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Amitabh Bachchan, who made it big in the field of acting.

Bela and Anand arrive at Sameer's bungalow for Karva Chauth celebrations. After performing the rituals, Sameer and Naina seek Anand's approval in a filmi style. After thoughtful consideration, Anand agrees to let Sameer only visit Mumbai. Anand tells Sameer to spend some time in the city, make a career, settle with his finances, and then take Naina along.

Both Sameer and Naina understand Anand's concerns and sentiments. Sameer doesn't wish to leave Naina alone in Ahmedabad, so he tells her that will give up on his dreams of becoming an actor. Naina doesn't want Sameer to sacrifice his ambitions, so she boosts his morale. 

Naina is a very understanding wife, and she is ready to bear the separation from him to help him chase his goals. Munna and Pandit wish to help Sameer, but he requests them to let him face his challenges independently. 

Its an emotional moment for Munna and Pandit because they will have to let Sameer move to Mumbai.
