Actor Zahid Ali who is presently seen in SAB TV’s Jeannie Aur Juju in the role of the antagonist Jinjora and in Colors’ Madhubala will soon enter Imtiaz Punjabi and Chokas Bharadwaj’s Nadaan Parinde on Life OK. The talented theatre artiste will essay the role of Lt. Colonel Avtar Singh who will be instrumental in shaping up the life of the protagonist Sameer (Karam Rajpal) in the Scaling Heights Productions show. In the episodes to come, Sameer’s elder brother Purab (Nikkhil Chaddha) will request Avtar Singh to train Sameer under him, and make him a responsible individual and a disciplined army officer. Lt. Col. Avatar Singh will be a very strict and disciplined army officer who will not encourage any kind of references. All that he will believe in will be hard work and determination, and will want every jawaan working under him to come out as disciplined army officers. His way to deal with the irresponsible and happy-go-lucky Sameer will be very strict. He will put the young lad to quite a lot of punishments and tough tasks only to transform him into an equally good individual and officer. When contacted, the two-time National award winner for his contribution to theatre said, “Yes, this is a very challenging role. I will be seen training the protagonist Sameer. The journey of the Lt. Col. And Sameer going through their rigorous training will be an interesting watch for viewers.” Zahid Ali also holds the distinction of essaying the younger version of Dilip Kumar in the movie Saudagar. The man was spotted by noted actress Deepti Naval in his theatrical play Mahabhoj, and was brought into the movie Saudagar. His entry will air in the coming days.
