The year 2015 has been entertaining with regards to the variety of reality shows being on air!! From fun moments, to the unusual yet predictable drama, controversies, incredible acts, the reality shows have given the best mix of enjoyment to the viewers. 

Well, here we are summing up the best of reality shows of 2015 in our Year Ender feature. 

Here we go in alphabetical order… 

Bigg Boss Nau (Colors / Endemol India) – The ‘baap’ of all reality shows, known for its spicy and juicy controversies has had its moments this season too. The entertainment of course has been at its best with viewers getting to see the mushy cute and cuddly romantic tales, the hot and sour arguments, and the smart and manipulative tactics of contestants. Even though viewers have not yet seen the climax of the show, we are surely and truly getting to the most crucial tussle inside the Bigg Boss house. May the best person win!!

Dance Plus (Star Plus / Frames Productions) – The show lived up to its tagline, ‘Isse Kehte Hain Dance’, and showcased some superlative performances, which catapulted many rising dancers to fame and success. Starting from the mentors to the super judge and contestants, the show indeed provided wholesome entertainment. 

Dance India Dance Super Moms (Zee TV / Esselvision) – A fabulous platform for the mommies to showcase their talents. The show enjoyed good ratings as well as viewers' love and appreciation. The dance forms like ballet, shadow dancing, mid-air dancing and many others simply kept the audience asking for more.. 

India’s Got Talent 6 (Colors / Fremantle Media) – The reality show has grown in stature with time, and this year was nothing different when compared to the immense talent that contestants showcased. With able judges in Malaika Arora Khan, Kirron Kher and Karan Johar helming the decisions, the talent show saw the bright and extremely talented aerial dancer from Assam, Manik Paul winning the contest this season. 

Indian Idol Junior (Sony TV / Fremantle Media) – Superb and talented bunch of kids indeed made this season a grand success. The kind of versatility and range showed by one and all in the contest broke all bars set. The contestants grew in popularity and are today a household name, and have a great career ahead in terms of singing. 

I Can Do That (Zee TV / Esselvision Productions) – Based on the popular U.S. series by the same name, this reality show was all about participants challenged to showcase their skills on various tasks given. Ably hosted by Farhan Akhtar, the show enjoyed great popularity, and was star-studded in terms of its contestant line-up. 

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8 (Colors / BBC Worldwide Media) – This show again star-studded this time, with the dashing Shahid Kapoor grabbing all eyeballs as the judge. Scintillating performances, coming from known celebrities and their choreographer partners made the season a must-watch. 

Khatron Ke Khiladi 6 (Colors / Endemol) – This daring stunt based reality game show has always been a success story whenever it has been on air. And the year 2015 yet again had Rohit Shetty handling the affairs as host. The dashing and strong Ashish Chowdhry was declared the winner. 

MTV Roadies (MTV India) – The 12^th season of Roadies was special as it did not have the popular judges Raghu Ram and Rajiv Laxman helming it. With controversies looming large over their exclusion, the season already grabbed eyeballs. With Rannvijay Singh, Vijendar Singh, Karan Kundra and Esha Deol as judges, the season was enjoyable to the core. 

Splitsvilla 8 (MTV India / Colosceum) – The season 8 got popular for its theme ‘What Women Love’… From the bisexual tones, to the love couples bagging limelight, the season was a hit in terms of its ratings and popularity.
