The manner in which the team associated with the series has been churning out stories with a difference has been mind-boggling.

Jodha Akbar (Balaji Telefilms), the show on Zee TV might not be on air today, but the unprecedented love and success that the show saw in the year 2015 has been remarkable. Truly made stars out of Rajat Tokas, Paridhi Sharma and others associated with it.

Kumkum Bhagya (Balaji Telefilms), yet another show of Ekta Kapoor that made hay while the sun shone. This popular show on Zee TV which started as the tale of two sisters, different from each other has grown in stature, and now enjoys splendid fan following, and of course huge numbers…

Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi (Balaji Telefilms) is the next show of Ekta Kapoor, on Colors that has amassed great numbers as well as response. The great fan following that the hit pair of Shakti Arora and Radhika Madan has garnered from the audiences is again huge, and is directly proportional to the show’s popularity.

Mahakumbh (Arvind Babbal Productions) on Life OK is the perfect example of a hugely engrossing finite series. The show was talked about for its interesting story line, production values and the manner in which it was lavishly shot.

Saathiya (Rashmi Sharma Productions) on Star Plus is again a long-running show with a great run. This show is a perfect example for drama increasing the shelf life of a serial on TV. With its catchy story line gripped with oodles of drama, the makers have succeeded in keeping the viewers hooked to it.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (Neela Telefilms), is yet another show which has been running for a long time on SAB TV. It has won appreciation for its intellectual story lines sandwiched with valuable messages to the audience. The show completes seven glorious years, and is still ruling hearts.

Udann (Guruodev Bhalla and Dhaval Gada) on Colors has been growing strong, courtesy its unique concept dealing with bonded labour and the enticing tale of the little girl Chakor who is on the path to achieving glory. The show has been blessed with good numbers, and a strong cast which has time and again proved their calibre.

Yeh Hai Mohabbatein (Balaji Telefilms) on Star Plus, has had a dream run this year, and has broken all records of being an average show which has stepped up its gear to become one of the most-viewed shows on television. Again, a hit pair in Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi has won all hearts..

Other than these shows, few shows which have left an impact on the audience this year happen to be the long running shows Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Sasural Simar Ka, Swaragini, Everest.
