Mihir Misra to replicate real life in 'KHKN'

The actor will impulsively tie the knot with an older woman, this time on screen.

In what seems to be a take-off from Mihir Misra's real life, Zee TV's 'Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na' is tracking a similar path on Aditya . The makers of 'KHKN' are obviously inspired by his impromptu marriage to Maninee De (Pari
of Sony's 'Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin'). How else does one explain this?

Aditya is all set to marry Avantika Frankin a jiffy. Avantika will be played by new girl Soniya Kapoor, who makes her entry in the 21 February episode.KHKN is supposed to be the desi, male version of Sex and the City. But
why not a straight adaptation of Sex And The City, we had earlier asked the producer Shrishti Arya. “We still are a one TV household. It is embarrassing for even urban folks to watch certain scenes with their families,” she had pointed out.

Presently, Soniya is seen on Remix on StarOne, also a Shristi Arya creation. Says Soniya, "I play a woman who is in her late 30s, divorced. I've got a look that is like Sushmita Sen's from Main Hoon Na sans the saree. I'm in
business suits, long chiffon dresses with long scarves. I'm very glamorous though subtle. Guess what, I've special music effects for my scenes, much like, again, Sush in Main Hoon Na."

Misra (Adi) will meet Kapoor (Avantika) at a resort and fall in love with her. Says Soniya, "I play older to him, much older to him. And what the heck, we get drunk and tie the nuptial knot!"

For those who do not know, even that is a take-off from Mishra's real life! Mihir proposed to Maninee this way. They went out for a party, got drunk and he proposed. Maninee replied, "I need some time to think." "How much time do you need?" asked Mihir. "One night," she answered. But Mihir didn't rerally have to wait for the entire night.

Guess why! The two were together till the next morning!!
