Roses all the way for Amit-Neeru!

On screen Guns N Roses couple Amit Sadh and Neeru Bajwa have finally decided to tie the knot, after a courtship that began early last year on the sets of the Star One show.

Amit and Neeru, who hails from Canada, will be following the trend set by screen colleagues Sai Deodhar -Shakti Anand, Poonam Narula - Manish Goyal, Shweta Kawatra - Manav Gohil and Gauri Pradhan - Hiten Tejwani, all of whom tied the knot with co-artistes last year!

Their love story ain't new. But their plan to get married by the end of this year is certainly news. To what does the couple attribute this change in their lives to? "No one ever knows what may happen next. One incident is enough to change your life. In my case, I am happy it changed for good," says a happy Amit.

"Neeru's mother will be here from Canada soon and we shall discuss matters," he adds. Amit sounds a traditional note when he says "marriage does not take place between two persons but it brings together two families". Guess that's the reason the couple has decided to wait till the year end.

One wonders why this 'desi' guy fell for a 'gori mem'. Laughs Amit, "I don't have many female friends but I found Neeru to be a very nice person. She is more Indian than other girls."

"I am a very simple, straightforward person. She liked my nature and we found we were just right for each other. Neeru is a fine woman. She has transformed me from a boy to a man," he confesses. We tried to get Neeru to comment on Amit too, but she was busy shooting.

2005 seems to be promising for this young lad, oops, man. He is appearing in a telefilm on Star One and might also take up a main lead in a commercial film by the end of this month.

Neeru seems to be already proving lucky for him!
