through the four year old Kkusum. First Nausheen, then Manasi and now Shilpa. With, of course, Poonam Narula and Narayani Shastri thrown in for some variation. As he takes a fresh stance with a fresh Kkusum, we decided to grill Anuj on how he rates the various women in his reel life!

On Nausheen Ali Sardar (the first Kkusum): She's charming, spontaneous, funny and lovable. She is a great friend and I shared a great chemistry with her! Once on the show, I had to be shown attempting to kiss her. But even before the director could say turn away, she would turn to one side, thinking I might just kiss her! She was quite nervous and we had to do many re-takes for that shot! And once, I had to lift her and walk down the stairs. I think I skipped my exercises for a week after that!

The most secretive of all: Narayani with Anuj

On Narayani Shastri (Tashu) : I worked with her only for a few months. She is reserved, but very focused. She is smart and independent. We became close friends and we continued our friendship even when her track in Kkusum was over. She is now back in Kkusum and it is nice to have her back. I call her Shahnaz Hussain because of her long lustrous hair!

On Poonam Narula Goyal (Mahi) : She is a very adaptable actress. She shot almost till the last stages of her pregnancy and we would joke that her waistline gets into the frame before she does! She keeps getting for dogs roaming in and around the sets!

Manasi Joshi Roy (the second Kkusum):. She evolved in the role of Kkusum. She is a sweet person, once you get to know her. She had to wear high heels whenever there was a close shot between us!
