LOCon Star Plus winds up in November. LOC
which is a light hearted fresh and fun filled
entertainer and one of the major efforts of
Star Plus in the comedy genre is wraping up
.The sitcom essentially revolves around a
restaurant called 'St Martins Spice -Indian
Restaurant' in London where there is no peace
and there is an on going love hate relationship
between two families from which emerge moments
of laughter in the restaurant and at home.
Explains LOC producer Rajiv Mehra,
"The shooting has stopped and we are
going off air in November. Our first two episodes
were one hour each and thereafter the rest
of the episodes were scheduled for half an
hour each. The shooting for the serial was
wrapped up in July itself. The timeslot for
our show was changed because of Kaun Banega
Crorepati but we were very much aware of all
this and it was mentioned clearly in our contract".
For Tom Alter it was a great experience shooting
in India and abroad and he will miss being
a part of the show as its coming to an end.
The show which takes a dig at hostility between
Indians and Pakistans and was appreciated
by many has to bid adieu for now..
