Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005 winner has put on his acting shoes! He will soon be seen playing himself in Zee's Kasamh Se.

Debojit:Debuting in a television show!

This is not the first time that reality show winners have tried their hand at acting - Prajakta Shukre has done a laudable job in Sony's Rihhaee and Abhjeet Sawant too did a cameo in CID. But the one reality show contestant who has made it big is Amit Tandon, who starred in Ekta Kapoor's Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai.

Debojit enters the plot when it's poised at a very critical stage. Jai Walia has bought the childhood home of the three sisters and plans to open a casino there to take revenge from them.

Ranveer will introduce Debojit as the Sa Re Ga Ma Challenge 2005 winner and he will sing the song Tanhaiii (from Dil Chahta Hai) which actually depicts the undercurrents, the pathos of the relationships that exist between Bani and Mr Walia.

"I got a call from Balaji to sing for the show. I shot for it today and had a nice experience with the actors (Ram Kapoor and Prachi Desai and the rest). Initially they asked me to sit in the vanity van and relax untill my shot but later the actors became so friendly and we got chatting. They appreciated my song Tanhaiii and encouraged me a great deal. I would have wanted to sing a fun song but ended up singing the song they chose,which I do like because the situation in the show bewafai demanded such a song," says Debojit who donned a formal look for the shoot.

The track unfolds as Jai Walia (Ram Kapoor) throws an inaugural party for the commencement of his casino project, which is under Bani's supervision. Bani is asked to declare her plans to develop the project and surprising everybody, she takes charge and thanks Walia for opening an orphanage near the casino.

The episode will be aired on 11 April.
