Veteran actor, Sulbha Arya will star in her daughter-in-law's next venture, Twinkle Beauty Parlour that will air on Sab.

Arya will play Fatima Bi. Arya is most remembered for her role as Kantaben in the Saif-Shahrukh strarrer, Kal Ho Na Ho. She has been part of shows like Filmi Chakkar, Hip Hip Hurray, Dil Kya Chahta Hai and Yes Boss.

The show that centres around the lives of four women and Twinkle Beauty Parlour. It's the space wherein the four women unwind, share experiences of their lives, conflicts and revelations. They represent the various social strata of the woman in our society . The key protagonist, Ranjana (Narayani Shastri) is the owner of the parlour. The show has a realistic middle class milieu and an unusual emotional journey of lives of four women and their families. The show unfolds in the locales of a typical middle class locality in Lajpat Nagar.

In what might be called a casting coup of sorts, the show has big names including Maninee De, Simple Kaul and Smita Bansal. The cast also includes Rajiv Paul.
