Raja Mukherjee is readying his star cast for his new show christened Kisi Ki Nazarr Na Lage with Ashish Kaul and Shruti Ulfat (or Kashish) as the main leads.
The show is touted as a soap opera with a Bengali backdrop.

"It has a nice star cast and has all emotions that the viewers would like to see. The show is about the power of money and has people sacrificing, taking revenge and the works. It's about a Mumbai based modern Bengali family, (like the last show Prratima on Sahara One) their values, culture with the trademark sari's and body language. I have a gut feeling that the show will do very well as it has all the ingredients of a good show," says Raja Mukherjee who will direct and produce the show. The director was last seen directing Kehkashan on DD after Prratima on Sahara One.

relationship. The head of the family, our father leaves his will in the name of the bhabhi so the entire family gets against her and she's thrown out of the house in the process. I help her out when everything gets complicated," says Ashish who is ultra excited about the show and has a modern look in it.

"My character is very similar to Maushami's character in Angoor. It's a comic character and she is very positive in life. She always tries to impress her husband and dresses up to woo him. The entire family is against the main protagonist but she tries to help the main protagonist," says Kamalika Guha Thakurta who is holidaying in Kolkata.

The star cast includes Subhi Raj, Aroop Pal,Sanjiv Seth,Damini Kanwal Shetty (she is the writer cum actor in the show), Ekta Sharma and Shabnam. Shooting will begin on 9 April.
