Ekta Sharma, known for playing the doting sister and companion to the leads in popular serials like Kkusum and Saara Aakash has two new shows in her kitty! Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhie Bahu thi and Rishton ki Dorr.

"I play Meera's (Shubhaavi) sister in Kyunki....Vidhi is a positive character and she is the only one other than Tulsi and Mandira who knows that she is against the Viranis. Vidhi is against Meera's intention of having a relationship with a married man! It's a great character and frankly it's always been a pleasure to work with Balaji," says Ekta.

The actor who has done loads of Balaji shows has always been playing the bridesmaid, but never the bride! "I am hoping that I will get better roles. I am a little fed up with playing a sister," says the gal, who is biding her time.

Ekta has already been shooting for Kyunki...for the past six months. She is playing Rita, a nurse in Rishton ki...., who is the main lead's friend.
