Rahul Vaidya's
shopping delights!
|
 |
Guess who was helping Rahul Vaidya
choose his attire for his upcoming
shows; none other than his Indian
Idol counterpart Prajakta Shukre.
Both singers were spotted at a suburban
mall in Mumbai shopping together in
harmony for hours.
"I have just got back from Kolkata
where I'd gone for a stage show and
wanted to go shopping and pick up
a few shirts so I decided to do it
with the help of my friends,"
explained an amused Rahul, when we
ribbed him about his escort for the
shopping spree, and added quickly,
"Amit Sana was also going to
join me for shopping but he couldn't
and Prajakta came along".
Rahul brushes aside the rumours of
him dating Prajakta saying "I
like the rumours and I am cool about
it," smiles Rahul, who is busy
recording for Ravindra Jain for an
upcoming Hindi film.
What is endearing about Rahul is the
fact that he is still in touch with
all his Indian Idol friends
(read Amit Sana, Abhijeet, Vishal,
Mukesh, and the pretty lady in question).
Is Prajakta just a 'friend', Rahul?

Anuj's Bollywood
bash!
|
|
It's
no longer a secret that Anuj Saxena
is a man of many talents! Besides
being an actor, the man is also the
marketing director of Elder Pharma,
which is the main sponsor of Filmfare
awards 2005.
The actor is throwing a party this
weekend for his newly acquired filmy
friends. But while the whole gamut
of film stars have been invited, the
buzz is that very few TV stars have
received the invite. It's anyone's
guess who's going to make it though
-- Juhi and Narayani will be seen
hobnobbing with the likes of Rani
Mukherjee and Preity Zinta! While
this is all fine, one thing that these
actors are going to rue is the fact
that Anuj has asked the press to stay
away!
But what the hell! Being invited
is cool enough!

Tassnim
on cloud nine!
|
|
Tassnim
is taking her current assignment very
seriously! The actor, who will be
co hosting Star One's new show,
Jet Set Go is really excited
about this game show where she will
compete with the other hosts to convince
viewers to take a trip in record time!
Ask her what her plan of action will
be, and the lady refuses to divulge
any details. "I won't let out
any secrets...how can I give you my
plan?" giggles the actor.

Krissh's
dilemma!
|
|
Zee's
afternoon daily Mamta seems
to have left its little protagonist
Krissh confused! The two year old
was in a fix a few days earlier when
his real mother paid him a visit on
the sets of the show. Caught between
his real life and reel life mother,
what made matters worse was the fact
that both of them are called Preeti.
His on screen mother Tanisha is played
by Preeti Puri.
When questioned, aapki mummy kaun
hai???(Who's your mother???),
the little fellow was lost for words!
Earlier a terror on the sets, Krissh
has now blended in well with the Mamta
unit and is now the darling of the
cast and crew! Preeti (Puri) often
drives the toddler home and they dance
to the Kajra..re.. tunes and
have a good time !
|
| Mum's the
word?? |
|
The
idea may not have been exactly original,
but Star Plus' Mum Tum Aur Hum
seems to have struck a chord with
little audiences.
There have been families that have
flown down to Delhi from places as
far flung as Amravati and Tuticorin,
just to be able to take part in the
show. Says producer Anita Kaul Basu,
"We even had a hysterical mother
calling us from Tuticorin, saying
her daughter wouldn't give up till
she is called on the show."
