Mamma Mona
gets back to work!
|
|
Mona Ambegaonkar, last seen as forensic
scientist Dr Anjalika in Sony's CID,
seems to have made a comeback of sorts
after giving birth to a baby girl
a few months ago!
Motherhood seems to have worked wonders
with the pretty actor, who's looking
rather lovely in the Dettol ad where
she features as the mother of a teen.
When we called to ask her about the
secret of her glowing skin, the lady
just laughed it off and thanked us
profusely for complimenting her!
Busy with her newborn, the actor hasn't
taken on more work! But we are hoping
to see much more of her on the small
screen!

Does the
Ilu Ilu charm still work?
|
|
Vivek Mushran made headlines as the
Ilu Ilu boy in Subhash Ghai's
Saudagar. One has seen him
of late doing television shows like
Kasautii Zindagi Kay and Son
Pari.
If Poonam Dhillon, Rati Agnihotri,
Avinash Wadhavan, Rahul Roy and more
recently, Vikas Sethi and Chaitanya
Chaudhary can shift to television
from Bollywood to television successfully,
why not Vivek?
The guy keeps a low profile though
and doesn't even grant interviews
to the media. Not very media savvy,
huh?

"I
knew it all along!"
|
|
Kavita Kaushik's one cool gal. All
along, while her friends were planning
a surprise bash on her birthday last
week, the leggy lass, seen most often
on Sony's CID, was wise to
their tricks.
"I knew it when they said let's
go for a drive, that they would drive
down to a nice nature spot near Pune,
'cos I love nature! We had a huge
party there, came back to Mumbai,
and then when some of them took me
out shopping again, I knew they wanted
to do up my house for the party!"
laughs Kavita.
"By then, I couldn't hold myself
back anymore, and when I returned,
I tried to act surprised, but finally
dissolved into giggles and told them
I knew their plans all along!"
Poor Karan Grover, Rituu Raj and company,
who planned the bash for weeks!

Raining
cameo's in Woh Rehne Wali Mehlo
Ki!
|
|
Every other show these days is trying
hard to add the glamour quotient to
it. And Woh Rehne Wali Mehlo Ki
might not be doing just that but is
roping in Maninee De and Gaurav Gera
for a few episodes in cameo roles.
Maninee plays a village belle while
Gaurav also plays a village boy in
the show. Interestingly both of them
have been good friends from the time
they worked in Jassi Jaisi Koi
Nahi.
"It's a cameo role where I play
a village boy who comes to the town
to donate kidney and it is about his
relations with the family," says
Gaurav Gera who will start shooting
for the show from day after tomorrow.
"I play a character which is
completely un-Maninee. I play a loud
character very unlike my nature. It
is an interesting role and I am in
the show with my favourite co-actor
Gaurav Gera. I am dressed in Indian
wear", chirps Maninee.

Role reversal!
|
|
Not many know that Rajshri Thakur
(Saloni in Saat Phere) was
the first choice in the casting of
Mamta for the lead role. But
the makers realised that she was too
intense for the role and hence they
decided to cast Neha Mehta instead.
At the same time, Anchal Dwewedi,
who plays Kaveri in Saat Phere
was offered the role of Tanisha (
the negative character in Mamta).
Not to forget both Rajshree Thakur
and Neha Mehta are doing a good job
in their respective shows on Zee.
