Roshan Abbas is getting back to doing what he does best- hosting a show of course! If all goes well Roshan Abbas will be soon seen with Maria Goretti hosting a show titled News Unplugged on the soon to be launched channel, Times Now.
"It will look at daily news but have comic elements in it. It will give an overview of what's happening and give the viewers a lighter side of the daily news. The show will have celebs also but not in the normal fashion of answering questions rather they would be doing something different. The set will not be the regular kinds rather it will be extremely hi- tech, comfortable and modern yet will give you the feel of a lounge bar and have a newsroom plasma too," quips Abbas whose production house (Encompass) is producing the radio show Comedy Ka King Kong presently.

The host can also be seen on Star Plus hosting a five minute capsule called Lakh Dukho Ki Ek Dawa which is based on household issues. Abbas is now looking forward to India's Best-Cinestar Ki Khoj for Zee which might resume soon.

When contacted Maria Goretti said "I am doing the show but can speak about it only after a week." She was last seen hosting shows on MTV pre- motherhood.

Both the hosts have already rehearsed and shot the promos and are waiting for the channel to get a license. (Expected to start by February first week)
The show will be aired thrice a week and will have a half hour late night time slot.
