Mona
Ambegaonkar, last seen in Sony's CID
has been on a sabbatical for the last three
months. And for those who have been missing
the talented actor on the telly, here's
good news. Mona delivered a baby girl on
23 December, and is taking a well deserved
break at home. The baby was born a month
premature and had to be delivered by caesearean
section, but both mother and daughter are
doing fine now.
The actor is now taking her responsibilities,
of being a single parent wonderfully, coping
with help from her parents and her family.
Mona says she is dying to get back to work,
but is waiting for her life to settle down
post delivery.
The actor who had been working consistently
and has completed almost a decade in the industry
and was last seen in the film White Noise,
The Rising, I Proud To Be
Indian and a host of television ads besides
Dhadkan and CID.
We have it on authority that the actor,
who has opted to stay single, has had a
relationship with a co star on a serial
she worked in recently. Telly Chakkar lauds
her decision to take the plunge into motherhood
singlehandedly, and hopes that she is accorded
the respect and privacy that she deserves
from the media.
