This SaharaOne daily went off air in mid December, just when it introduced two new characters and now, has decided to air its reruns!

The Kohinoor reruns start 2 January at 11 pm and if the on air promos are to be believed, it is back due to popular demand. Although it's a rerun, the show is bound to look different.

The reason? The channel is sprucing up the show by editing it and making it look crisper. "We are re-editing it and making changes to the production values so that it looks pacier, glossier and we are also looking to highlight the thriller aspect of the show. We are also re-shooting some of the sections, although new characters will not be incorporated, " says Sahara One COO Purnendu Bose.

The channel belives that a 11 pm time slot will get mature adult viewers that will help generate more TRPs. "We want to monitor viewership at that time slot and then we will think what to do next. We strongly believe in Kohinoor and think that it is way ahead of its time," says Purnendu.

We hope that Kohinoor makes a strong comeback this time around!
