After
the launch of Rajdeep Sardesai's CNN-IBN,
new news waves are all set to hit the tube.
Times Now, the channel from the Times Group
and Reuters stable, is all set to launch and
in style.
The channel has already started its show
reel since Monday, and the on-air promos
depict a slew of shows that will be hosted
by an array of noted journalists and celebs.
Here is a sneak peek of some of the special
shows and their anchors that will be the
mainstay of this soon to be launched channel.

KUNAL
VIJAYKAR:
Funny man Kunal will be hosting a
show called, The Foodie. The
promos show him being badgered by
frying pans and the man himself looks
quite hassled. This will be an interesting
show to be hooked on to and a different
kind of a show to be part of a news
channel's line-up. It will certainly
be a delight to watch Kunal's antics
on a lazy weekend afternoon! (supposing
it's in the afternoon slot) It will
see Kunal playing host to a number
of celebs and rustling up meals at
the same time.

LILLETE
DUBEY: She
will host By Invitation Only,
a weekend show that will have her
in an interesting avatar. The actress
will let us into the world of the
rich, powerful and the famous. This
is her first foray into anchoring.

|
GITANJALI
KIRLOSKAR: She
is heading the world's second largest
ad agency Q:uadrant and now the lady
has added another feather to her cap.
Geetanjali will be a hosting another
weekend show, Life's Like That,
a curious mix of situations in
life.

 |
KELLY
DORJI: This
actor was last seen in the Amitabh
Bachchan starrer, Ek Ajnabee. This
Bhutanese ramp model and actor will
be hosting Sports Unplugged, an
on the edge sports magazine.
|
NAOMI
DATTA: Naomi
has been in the business for more
than half a decade and her claim to
fame is the expose on the people meter
list leak of 2001. She was producer
and Principal Correspondent with CNBC
TV18 before she joined Times Now.
|
|
Other
shows which will be interesting to watch
are -- Line of Duty, Brand Equity
(the promo of this show has an uncanny resemblance
to the Indica V2 ad) and
All About Her among others.
