He
is the new light eyed boy of Kyunki Saas
Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. The infusion of
fresh fraces with the third generation has
brought to spotlight the character of Kisna
aka Pulkit
Samrat. This Delhite has become
quite a rave amidst the viewers. While the
girls find him an intense, cute boy-next-door,
the elderly see an ideal, obedient son in
him. Pulkit is very much like his onscreen
character, level headed, simple and loves
to dress up without going over board. In
a chat with Sameera
Kapoor, he shares his fashion
fundas....

"I
am not at all fashion conscious".

Kisna Versus Pulkit....
There is no great difference
in their sense of dressing. Like Kisna,
I love wearing long sleeved tees or shirts.
Except for the fact that I prefer shirts
over tees. I keep buying shirts from all
places.
Being in vogue
means.....
I am not at all fashion conscious. First
of all tell me who decides what is in and
out? The entire thing is not only funny
but out of my understanding. But I can define
the term if you want to; being in sync with
the ongoing trends (laughs).
No no trends.....
I don't like wearing baggy, loose,
low waist jeans, nor do I prefer torn jeans.
Comfort rules my dressing. Anything I wear
should be neatly pressed, fit well and look
smart; in short enhance my look.
My fav pick....
A well-fitted denim with a white,
full sleeved shirt, neatly tucked in. (a
tucked out shirt makes me look short. My
wardrobe essentials are my denim, basic
shirts in black and white, classy suits
and ethinic wear. I'm also into stocking
shoes and watches.
Brands are....
Not at all necessary. I buy anything from
anywhere. Anyways nobody bothers about a
brand as long as a particular dress looks
good.
Favourite shopping
spots....
Though I am Delhite, I am well versed with
Mumbai. Here, I love shopping at Bandra
boutiques. For shirts, I prefer showrooms
like Be and Expree. They have a neat collection!
Besides I also frequent the Lokandawala
market often.
Time needed to
garb up...
Off sets, I take hours and hours to dress
up, because I'm quite indecisive. I conduct
many trials before I get nto my final outfit.
On sets, my dress manager comes to my rescue
and thanks to him, I take barely ten minutes.

".
|
Indian or Western
.....
Though I look equally good in both, I prefer
western wear.
Fetish for......
I love stocking cool shades and watches.
Indian Fashion
is......
For ladies, it has to be a sari and for
men, a sherwani and a pathani.
If I had to pick one, I would say a pathani.
My cheapest buy.....
I bought glares from a local market for
just Rs.250/-.
Most stylish person
in tellydom…
Rakshanda Khan fits the bill. I believe
she is high on style quotient. She carries
herself with great elegance and poise in
any dress that she wears.
Pulkit is....
I am a simple person, very much
like my on screen character, Kisna. I seek
and like simplicity in others. I hate artifical,
made-up attitudes.
