Shreyas Talpade may not have been seen on the big screen after Iqbal, but the dimunitive actor's fans can catch him on Zee Smile's Home Sweet Home on the occasion of April Fool's Day.

Shreyas will make a guest appearance on this show for the April Fool's Day Special episode to be aired on 3 April 2006.

The episode revolves around Kiku chacha (played by Kiku) who makes a fool of the kids by boasting about his old friendship with filmstar Shreyas Talpade to his nieces Pooja, Aarti and Karishma but in reality Kiku doesn't even have a faint acquaintance with Shreyas.

The story takes an unexpected turn, when Shreyas actually turns out to be Kiku's college friend and finally Kiku realizes this was nothing but an April Fool's prank to teach him a lesson.

"I had this concept in mind for a long time and wanted someone with a strikingscreen presence to do this cameo. Shreyas and I are good friends and when I narrated the concept to him he was more than happy to be a part of it," says HSH's producer Paritosh Painter, who has earlier roped in the likes of Soha Ali Khan for special episodes of HSH. Shreyas shot for the special episode on Thursday.

Set in Mumbai, HSH is a show about a very loving family headed by Rahul Kapoor (Rajiv Kapoor), a morning talk show host, who becomes a single parent when his wife is killed in a car accident in Delhi and leaves him to take care of his three daughters. Pooja (Sakshi Sem), Aarti (Shivani Joshi) and Karishma (Aditi Bhatia).
