From plain cotton salwar kameez to strapless gowns and short skirts, it's been quite a journey of sorts for Gauri Pradhan!
Kyunki's… Nandini aka Gauri Pradhan will be seen in Sony's Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai flaunting a completely rockstar image, from 3 April, Monday.

"I am quite happy to play a different charecter"

Shivangi Singh, creative head of Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai, says, "Yes, she will be on the show. She will be playing another singer sporting a totally different look. A kind of a rockstar." Gauri's entry will change the existing storyline completely. She will fall in love with Iqbal khan. "Gauri will eventually fall in love with Angad, and then it will be a sort of a love triangle."

The most attractive part about Gauri's character will be her new rockstar look! On contacting designer, Nim Sood, who's fondly referred as masi by all Balaji stars, says "It's a very different look. She will be seen in leather jackets and pants, we have also used a lot of denim stuff. She will also sport strappy wear and short skirts!"

Sood further adds, "She will definitely carry it off very well, the simple reason being that she wears western outfits off screen, also she has a good figure." She continues, "This is the very first time Gauri will be seen in a very trendy look. Earlier, she had a plain Jane look, suiting the character of a reporter in Kyunki…"

Gauri who is not really aware of her character on her new show says, "Well, I don't really know about my character. I am not very very excited about doing a very hip role, but certainly am very happy about an extremely different look!"

The slim and sleek Gauri, always seen in ethnic Indian wear on screen will be soon seen in ultra western outfits -- well, this is something that will draw all her fans to the tube! That augurs well for the show!
