Sandeep Rajora, best known as the hassled Tushar in Zee's Kareena Kareena, will now be seen in Sahara One's soon to be launched show, Sati.

Sandeep will play Siddharth Raichand, who is a flamboyant lawyer with a rival firm. "He is a chilled out guy! He has the character quite like that of Tom Criuse in A Few Good Men. I am very excited about the show as it does not deal with run of the mill stories. It's an honest show that deals with thw law and is contemporary given the Jessica Lal and the other rape cases that are making headlines these days," says Sandeep who has shot only one day for the show.

The actor will sport a look similar to the one in Kkusum (and coincidentally in the Sony show he was called Siddharth too) - rimless glasses and power suits.

"Siddharth is a thorough professional and he's cut throat! He is pitted against Sati (Mansi Salvi) in the show. Initially viewers will see the professional side of him, but later his emotional side will also be explored," points out Sandeep.

The show which will go on air from 29 May at 8:00 pm, Monday-Friday, has a host of noted actors in its star cast - Dimple Inamdat, Abhay Bhargava, Rajat Bhagat and of course Mansi Salvi who will play the lead. The most promising aspect of the show is perhaps the name of the writer - Kamlesh Pandey who has written Rang De Basanti.
