Sahara One is geared up with a slew of shows lined up for a grand launch this December. The channel has churned out family drama's in the past and this time around is all set to launch a love story titled Ghar Ek Sapna which will be directed by ace director Ajai Sinha post the success of Zee's Astitva- Ek Prem Kahani.
The show has an interesting star cast which includes the likes of Alok Nath, Harsh Chhaya, Himani Shivpuri, Barkha Madan and Kavita Kaushik with a fresh face of Sayantani Ghosh who plays the protagonist(Kakul).

The story revolves around a girl who marries the man she loves and trusts and how she adjusts in the new house and the new city after her sudden marriage.
"I've done Samay and Hasratien in the past and this isn't a new genre for me and very hopeful it will be one of the top grosser's for the channel. I am the pioneer of this genre and make such stories work on any channel," says Ajai Sinha, the director of the show.
We ask the main protagonist of the show how what made her take up the role
"I play Kakul who has a Bihari background but at the same time she's very modern in her values and well educated. She goes for a friend's wedding and that's where a guy falls for her and flirts around with her. Finally due to circumstances she is forced to get married to this guy. She comes to Mumbai to her husband's house but because the family is against her as they had other plans for the son of the family, the girl doesn't get her due and falls prey to the tricks of the family. It's this girl's journey to make the house into her home and get everyone to accept her," says the pretty young thing who has worked in Kumkum's new generation previously.
Here's hoping this sapna rakes in more TRP ratings for the channel.
