Garnier Fructis Jodi No. 1 is the
first ever celebrity dance competition on
Tamil TV featuring the most popular faces
of the Tamil television industry - four
real life couples and four reel life couples.

Real life couples:
Devadarshini-Chetan, Rashna-Vijay Adhiraj,
Latha Rao-Rajkamal and Preetha-Raghav.
Reel life couples:
Shilpa-Bharat Kalyan, Kutty Pooja-Prem,
Pooja-Rishi and Tharika-Deepak.
The show is a mix of reality and studio
episodes on this version as well. The reality
episodes will capture the candid moments
during the rehearsals, the hard work, the
emotions, which the couple undergo in their
quest to become Jodi No. 1. The studio
episodes will be the performance episodes
on the set where the celebrities will showcase
their dancing talents in front of the judges.
There are 3-jury members for the show includes
dance master Kala, actor Prashanth and actor
Ramya Krishnan who will judge the performance
of the eight jodis. Meet the judges:

Dance Master Kala
A trained classical dancer, Kala is one
of South India's leading choreographers
and a National Award winner. Her career
graph speaks about 3,600 songs which she
has choreographed in various languages.
She also has a dance school named 'Kala's
Kalalaya' of her own.
Actor Prashanth
Son of film actor, producer and director,
Thiagarajan, Prashanth has many successful
films to his credit down south, namely Jeans,
Kanethirae Thondrinal, Jodi and Paarthein
Rasithein. He is a heartthrob amongst
teens and is popularly known as 'Kadhal
Ilavarasan'.
Actor Ramya Krishnan
Glam queen of the south, actress Ramya has
played heroine to all leading heroes cutting
across all languages in the past two decades.
She made her mark in Padayappa with
the superstar Rajnikanth and is also known
for her special appearance in dance numbers.
Jodi No.1, which has hit the airwaves
on 7 October, runs Friday-Saturday at 8
pm.
