For
the common man, Independence Day is just
like another holiday. Many prefer to sit,
chill at home and get entertained by surfing
channels.
A decade back viewers had to make do with
whatever Doordarshan dished out. So the
Independence Day parade at Delhi served
as your morning alarm. Later, Gandhi, Shaheed
or Kranti was the film that consumed your
afternoon.
However, it's 2007 and with nearly 200
channels on air, and close to 50 awaiting
I&B ministry's nod, expect your TV to
be on patriot mode. Below are a few things
that a couch potato shouldn't miss at any
cost.
