Ami's hunting for work!

Ami Trivedi rose to fame as Sahara One's Kittu, a straightforward and confident journalist. Once the show Kittu Sab Jaanti Hain was pulled off air abruptly, the bubbly actress has been pursuing her first love - theatre. Lately, she has been seen in Pappa Padharo Savdhaan, a Gujarati play.

After a long time, we caught up with Ami who got candid about her career in tellydom.

About my new show:
"I will be signing on a new show shortly but I don't want to talk about it. Actually, it's quite early to spill the beans. Nothing has been finalized as yet but if everything falls in place in a week's time I will be in a better position to talk about it. I am very superstitious about my work and want to keep it under wraps till things are finalised."

Cameo roles…
"While focusing on my theatre work, I quite enjoyed my cameos in Kumkum and Khichdi. Now I am hunting for a good role."

My character in Pappa Padharo Savdhaan
"I play Neha who's a real tomboy. She makes documentaries for BBC. It's a love story where my character has to convince her dad to let her marry her boyfriend."

On saas-bahu sagas
I don't mind doing a saas-bahu show. I have not received any offers as of now. I am happy with what I am doing currently.
