this time. First things first, this time
around the show will have a mix of tellywood
and Bollywood jodis vying to be the best
dance couple. Also, the competition is bound
to get more difficult with the reality show
being shifted from Star One to Star Plus.
"Our attempt has been to make NB
3 more than just a celebrity dance show.
We will also be making a lot of changes
in the format along with the look and feel.
We believe that show will cut across all
age groups," reveals Ajay Vidyasagar,
President, Star India.
All the ten glittering jodis comprise of
Shakti & Shivangi Kapoor, Rakhi Sawant
& Abhishek Awasthi, Sweta Keswani &
Alex O' Neil, Karan Patel & Amita Chandekar,
Vikas & Amita Sethi, Karan Grover &
Kavita Kaushik, Aamir Ali & Sanjeeda
Sheikh, Kashmira Shah & Krishna, Kiran
& Ritu and Pooja & Hanif.
At the launch of the show, Pooja &
Hanif, who were also a part of Sony's Jhalak
Dikhla Ja said, "We all are friends
and no one is against us. The format of
Jhalak was completely different from NB3."
"I was not ready to participate in
NB3, as dance is not really my cup
of tea but Sanjeeda persuaded me,"
says Aamir Ali, who's currently being seen
in Sahara's Who Rehne Wali.
Shakti Kapoor and Shivangi will be the
senior most jodi on the show. "All
the other contestants are like my kids but
I'm definitely no less than them. I'm glad
to be a part of the show," says Kapoor.
