The
Virani family of Kyunki Saas Bhui Kabhi
Bahu Thi has opened its doors again
to welcome the Agarwals of Kahani Ghar
Ghar Ki.
Traditionally, such crossovers take place
only during festive occasions. Presently,
the Viranis are in absolutely no mood to
celebrate. Protagonist Mihir Virani (Ronit
Roy) is facing the hangman’s noose after
being convicted of Trupti’s murder (Swarna
Jha).
Commenting on the forthcoming events, Tulsi
Virani (Gautami Kapoor) says, “Mihir’s death
sentence is nearing. We all are looking
for desperate measures to save him. A ray
of hope comes in the form of Trupti’s look-alike.
The Agarwals, and in particularly Parvati
(Sakshi Tanwar), offer their help in getting
Mihir out of jail. That’s all I can reveal
now. You must watch the new episodes to
know the result. “
The cynosure of all eyes is Swarna Jha
who makes a comeback in a new avatar. She
says, “I now play Balwinder Kaur, affectionately
called Babli. She’s married and has
an 8-year-kid. Above all, she’s a doppelganger
of Trupti and this is what gets the Viranis
excited.”
While the actors will hail this crossover
viewers are curious as to why mix these
shows at a critical juncture. A source informs,
“Smriti Irani is making news for entering
Teen Bahuraaniyan. This has captured
the imagination of the viewers. This
Kyunki-Kahani mixture is bound to arouse
more interest and also take away the sheen
from Smriti’s entry in Teen Bahuraaniyan.”
Kudos to Ekta Kapoor and her writers
for this new twist in the tale.
