The Virani family of Kyunki Saas Bhui Kabhi Bahu Thi has opened its doors again to welcome the Agarwals of Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki.

Traditionally, such crossovers take place only during festive occasions. Presently, the Viranis are in absolutely no mood to celebrate. Protagonist Mihir Virani (Ronit Roy) is facing the hangman’s noose after being convicted of Trupti’s murder (Swarna Jha).

Commenting on the forthcoming events, Tulsi Virani (Gautami Kapoor) says, “Mihir’s death sentence is nearing. We all are looking for desperate measures to save him. The cynosure of all eyes is Swarna Jha who makes a comeback in a new avatar. She says, “I now play Balwinder Kaur, affectionately called Babli. She’s married and has an 8-year-kid. Above all, she’s a doppelganger of Trupti and this is what gets the Viranis excited.”
